The “Katya” Grip is all about the feels. She may not be much to look at, but she is one of our most comfortable grips in our exclusive collection. Constructed of birch laminate and finished with our proprietary shellac blend to represent a traditional soviet aesthetic. Texture is added for style and added grip surface. Made in the USA since 2016.

Compatibility: Our grips are compatible with 99.99% of factory AK rifles and pistols, including Yugo ZPAP models and milled receivers. We recommend adding one of our Grip Screw & Bushings to your order if you do not have appropriate mounting hardware.

Grip comes loose under stress

First off, I appreciate the quality of the work that Khyber Customs puts into their products. This grip is *pretty*. My Sar-2 looks really nice with this thing on, and that's half of the battle here. My problem is with the functionality of this grip. I'm using an Arms of America grip nut+screw set to affix the grip to my AK, and this particular grip has a slanted screw fixture, meaning that the nut, which should sit vertically in the receiver, has to sit pushing against the floor of the receiver if tight, and this loosens the screw under the force of recoil. I've sent a message to the KC team earlier about an unrelated topic with regards to this grip - the fit isn't perfect for me - and received no response. I'm happy to purchase quality products from Khyber Customs, but this isn't what I expected.
