 Khyber Customs SKS “Swiss” Cheese Grater Upper Handguard

 

The Original AK “Cheese Grater Upper Handguard” was designed in 2016 and produced by Khyber Customs in Houston, TX. Our product is the ONLY product on the market that includes a superior Melonite QPQ Coating (vs. Black Oxide or Phosphate) which provides improved corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and case hardening. These handguards are designed to be adjusted by the end user to get a precise fit to a wide tolerance of gas tubes. Made in USA since 2016.

 

Compatibility: These handguards are compatible with most SKS pattern gas tubes, and will replace any factory 5 11/16” upper handguard.  Includes replacement retaining pin.

This includes but is not limited to – Russian, Chinese, Yugoslavian variants

 

Please note that changing out hand fit, factory parts with aftermarket parts & accessories may require hand fitting by the end user. For customers that are not equipped with basic tools or experience with hand fitting parts, we recommend seeking out the assistance of a competent gunsmith.     It is not often that I take the time to write a review. So many products offered online nowadays are usually cheap quality but good enough to do the job. With that being said I have been absolutely blown away by the quality of this Swiss Cheese Grater Upper Handguard for my Norinco SKS. With any replacement part on these rifles, a bit of hand finishing is needed to make it fit proper. After just a few moments, I had this fitting like it was OEM and the look is just amazing. I am running a Choate Dragonov Stock and this just made the entire package so much better. Plastics melt, metal doesn't. I appreciate the attention to detail in the packaging, the quick ship time and even the special thank you written on my receipt. This is the way America used to do business and I pray that Khyber Customs maintains the level of commitment to customer service and quality of manufacture. You have impressed a Disabled Vet of the US Army and in doing so earned my business for life. Do not hesitate if you have read this far. I was not paid for my review, I'm just that impressed.
