The AKML Lower Handguard is a lightweight, ergonomic handguard solution that is packed with features at an unbeatable price point. Features include 3 MLOK mounting surfaces.

Compatibility: These handguards are compatible with most AKM and AK74 pattern rifles, and will replace most factory 6” lower handguards.

This includes but is not limited to – WASR, VSKA, PSAK47, MAK90, Arsenal SLR (not UR models), Saiga SGL, Draco (Full Size), Draco Nak9, Hellpup, IO Sporter, and many more.

Please note that changing out hand fit, factory parts with aftermarket parts & accessories may require hand fitting by the end user. It serves it's purposes however, it did require a lot of fine filling to be able to fit it on my AES-10B (RPK, built off of a WASR-10 reciever). The reason I say 3 stars is due to poor design. If you mount any Mlok rail or device to the bottom of this handguard then the mlok retaining nut will prevent you from inserting your cleaning rod. Even though there are cut outs for a cleaning rod, they will be blocked by the mlok retaining plates. The bottom of this grip should have been designed taller to accommodate this feature. It does cool down the gun faster than OE wood funature, however this handguard get VERY hot very quick! You'll need to shoot with oven mits. Preferably with a floral pattern.

This was my 3rd order from Khyber customs. I love this place. It's now the first place I go when I need AK parts. This handguard is solid and I may buy more. I wish I knew about this site before.

May need fitting

TDi advertises this as a drop-in lower HG that is compatible with UltimAK without modification. Not quite... I installed this on an Arsenal stamped rifle, and it doesn't quite fit squarely (not TDi's fault) as the bottom of the front trunnion and bottom of the receiver aren't parallel. Had to shim that to get a nice fit, as well as file the front where the lower HG retainer mates. I had to file my U-clamps on my UltimAK to get the rail to sit level with the sights. The quality of the AKML is excellent, and it's lightweight. Just be advised as with any AK, especially a modified one - you may have to do some work. I tried dropping it into a Romanian rifle and it was very loose.

Got this for my PSAK-47 GF3. Installation was quick and easy. Fit like a glove. Fit and finish quality was excellent. Looks great and feels good to the hand. Side note: if you are pairing with a magpul upper handguard you will have to shave the sides down some to make it fit right. Used a file to shave some of the plastic without issue. I did not have to modify the new lower.
