MK62 Lower Handguard

The MK62 Lower Handguard is designed to offer clean and aggressive styling, with modern American utility. This design features (1) MLOK Slot on the right and left side, picatinny rail on the bottom, and retains the factory cleaning rod. They are Ultimak mount compatible and drop-in ready for install. Hard Coat Anodized 6061-T6 Aluminum, Made in USA.

Compatibility: These handguards are compatible with most AK47, AKM, and AK74 pattern rifles, and will replace most factory 6” lower handguards.

This includes but is not limited to – WASR, VSKA, PSAK47, MAK90, Arsenal SLR (not UR models), Saiga SGL, Draco (Full Size), Draco Nak9, Hellpup, IO Sporter, and many more.

Simple, robust, and great to look at, just like the rifle it's built for. Required some fitting, but I have a Hungarian kit so all handguards do. The only thing leaving me wanting is the lack of QD points near the receiver, but that's a preference thing on my part.

Awesome lower handguard. It looks and feels great, very solid construction. The M-Lok slots on each side are a nice, subtle feature. I bought this for a Norinco MAK-90 and even though it says it fits a MAK-90 in the description; I knew that it wouldn't fit out of the box with Chinese receivers being thicker than other stamped AKs. No AKM furniture fits a MAK90 without filing. After some filing and test fitting, I got it on. Well worth the time spent fitting it. For what it's worth, I test fitted it to one of my Bulgarian rifles before filing and it fit snug like a handguard should. So for the vast majority of stamped AK's, should fit nop problem. Great quality, would recommend to anyone looking for a new handguard and will probably buy another soon! Thank you for offering such a solid product at an affordable price point.

Great fit, function and appearance!

Just installed this handguard on my kp9 and it's solid! Had to shave down the depth of the portion that fits into the front of the receiver, but was expecting it due to the design of the gun itself. Need a yugo pattern one now!
